Graduate Software Engineer
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Collaborate on Development Projects: Work closely with our Software Engineers to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of innovative software solutions that drive our platform forward. This is a full-stack role, and you’ll gain hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end development.
- Write and Optimise Code: Develop clean, efficient, and scalable code using modern programming languages and frameworks, with an emphasis on quality and performance.
- Participate in Code Reviews: Engage in peer code reviews, learning from others to continuously improve your coding practices and technical skills.
- Learn and Apply New Technologies: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices, applying what you learn to help keep our systems at the cutting edge of the industry.
- Support Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with teams across the business, including Security, DevOps, Product, and Design, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features and services.
What we’re looking for:
- You’re working towards (or have recently completed) a degree in computer science or a related field, and you’re set to graduate in 2024 or 2025.
- You’ve got some coding skills under your belt and are comfortable with at least one of these languages: React Native, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, C++, or Java.
- You enjoy working with others and can also get things done on your own when needed.
- You’re a good communicator, both in writing and speaking.
- You’re a natural problem solver who loves tackling challenges and coming up with creative solutions.
- You have a passion for software engineering and care about writing code that’s not just functional, but also beautifully crafted.
