About Us

Bullet is building the next generation of trading infrastructure on Solana — lightning-fast, sleek, and designed for serious users. Founded by a team with backgrounds in high-frequency trading (HFT), top Silicon Valley tech companies and leading crypto exchanges. We’re backed by world-class investors including Electric Capital, Jump Capital, Race Capital, Wintermute, and more.

Our team previously launched Zeta Markets, one of the top perpetual DEXs on Solana with over $15B in volume traded in 2025. With Bullet, we’re pushing the boundaries even further: 3ms trade latency, thousands of TPS, and a full-featured perps and spot DEX built for pros and retail alike.

Role: React Front-End Developer

We're looking for a talented and product-obsessed React developer to help build a fast, beautiful, and intuitive trading UI — desktop-first, mobile-optimized, and responsive across all devices. This isn’t just about dashboards; it’s about creating a modern trading experience that feels as seamless as the best consumer fintech apps — but powered by decentralized rails.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain the core front-end of Bullet across web and mobile browsers using React + TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to ship high-quality features and UX flows.
  • Craft responsive UIs that feel native on both desktop and mobile — with sharp performance, clean animations, and real-time data.
  • Integrate REST and WebSocket APIs for trading, market data, authentication, and notifications.
  • Own performance, accessibility, and usability standards across the app.
  • Help shape onboarding, portfolio tracking, order placement, and more — turning complex DeFi actions into intuitive user flows.
  • Maintain robust testing and deployment pipelines with a high bar for code quality and reliability.

You Might Be a Fit If You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience building production-grade React apps.
  • Strong TypeScript and React hooks proficiency.
  • Experience with Next.js and React 19.
  • Experience building responsive web UIs that work across desktop and mobile.
  • Solid grasp of front-end performance optimization, animation, and state management.
  • Comfortable integrating with both REST and WebSocket APIs.
  • Experience or interest in financial interfaces, trading dashboards, or data-heavy applications.
  • Appreciation for good design and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with analytics, error tracking, and deployment tools (Amplitude, Sentry, Vercel etc.).

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience in fintech, crypto, or trading UIs.
  • Experience with charting libraries (e.g. TradingView).
  • Exposure to onboarding funnels and user education in web apps.
  • Familiarity with WASM, service workers and SSR frameworks (Next.js).
  • Interest in Solana and DeFi ecosystems.

Why Join Bullet?

  • Help shape the future of decentralized trading on Solana.
  • Work with a world-class team that values product, performance, and pixel-perfect execution.
  • Operate in a fast-paced, high-trust environment where you’re given ownership and autonomy.
  • Solve real technical challenges in a zero-to-one product journey.
  • Competitive compensation, equity, and the chance to leave your mark on the most advanced DEX infrastructure in the space.

Ready to help us build the fastest, cleanest trading experience in DeFi? Let’s talk.

What does a JavaScript developer in web3 do?

Web3 refers to the third generation of web technology, which emphasizes the use of decentralized technologies such as blockchain and distributed ledger systems

This means that a JavaScript developer in web3 would need to be familiar with these technologies and how to use them in the development of applications and other software

They may also be responsible for maintaining and updating existing web3 applications, as well as working with other members of a development team to create new web3 applications.
