Since launching in late 2018, SideShift.ai has been growing rapidly. With seven-figure daily volume and key industry partnerships, we have achieved a lot but there is still plenty more to do.
To slot in with our stack we are looking for someone who has experience in tools such as React, TypeScript, Apollo, GraphQL, Storybook, Jest and Cypress.
We are searching for a junior frontend engineer who is hungry to scale up their skillset and learn on the job.
Role
- Building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern tools like React, TypeScript, Next.JS, Apollo, GraphQL, Storybook, Jest, Cypress.
- Own projects from idea to live implementation.
- Work closely with our frontend lead and other key members of our engineering team.
- Ship. Your ideas will make it into live products in no time.
You
- A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
- Experience with React and TypeScript.
- Passion for and knowledge of blockchain technologies.
- Proactive with product ideas/opinions.
- Curiosity and a keen interest in "why?"
- Outstanding at written communication.
- Self-motivated and self-managing. Able to thrive in an asynchronous environment.
- Able to join team meetings in EU/Asia timezones (but we try to avoid meetings as much as possible).
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.JS.
- Experience in interacting with smart contracts via the frontend.
- Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail in design. Experience in using Figma or other design tools.
- Experience with unit testing, end-to-end testing or visual testing.
- An appreciation for memes.
