Job Purpose

Lead the technical vision and execution for a first-of-its-kind perpetuals DEX engineered for Real World Assets, focusing on on-chain perpetuals trading of assets like gold, copper, forex pairs, and more. Drive innovation and scalability in blockchain technology while ensuring a seamless blend of engineering excellence and product-focused strategies.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership:
  
  

Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership in developing and deploying server-side applications using modern frameworks like NestJs and Next.js. Drive continuous improvement in development and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker.

• Product and Engineering Oversight: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product functionality, user experience, and on-chain/off-chain integration using technologies such as web3 and ethers.js. Lead and contribute to building and maintaining Subgraphs for indexing blockchain data, ensuring real-time data availability.
• Team Management and Development:
  
  

Lead and mentor product-focused technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Manage resources effectively, allocate tasks, and drive results to meet project milestones and business objectives.

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership roles with a blend of product and engineering focus, ideally in early-stage startup environments.
• Deep expertise in crypto, particularly DeFi, with a track record of leveraging technologies like web3, ethers.js, and NestJs for building scalable and secure applications.
• Ability to commute to NYC or London at least once a month and live within a 2-hour radius of these locations, demonstrating commitment and flexibility in supporting in-person collaboration and business engagements.
