Role Summary

The Director of Product Management will play a pivotal role at Arcade in its 0-1 journey. This individual will be responsible for understanding consumers’ first experiences with AI, owning site conversion, and driving the strategy, design, and build of our consumer-facing shopping features (both pre-order and post-order) as well as maker-facing features including fulfillment and customer service functionality. This leader will oversee product planning, user experience design, analytics, and QA to ensure a best-in-class marketplace shopping experience. You will partner closely with our engineering, design, marketing, and content production team members to prioritize and implement key functionality. The successful candidate will have had deep e-commerce PM experience, strong project management skills, superb and proactive communications skills, the ability to motivate cross-functional teams, and the ability to drive detail-oriented results on time.

Responsibilities

    • Partner closely with the company’s S-Team to develop and communicate weekly priorities
    • Define and execute product strategy that delivers a best-in-class ecommerce experience while driving innovations that set the standard for the first AI generated product company
    • Evangelize customer-centric thinking and strategies to deliver high consumer NPS and conversion to purchase 
    • Oversee e-commerce platform’s architecture, vendor selection, integrations, and site performance in partnership with the VP of Engineering 
    • Own the shopping user experience in conjunction with our UX designer 
    • Partner with engineering team in managing sprint planning and implementation to ensure consistent, impactful releases of new features 
    • Make data-driven decisions to rapidly test and iterate on product hypotheses. Develop, monitor, and manage key commerce and site metrics
    • Project manage weekly sprints, communicating clearly and proactively with cross-functional partners

Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience in product management in a consumer e-commerce company, including previous experience at the Director level
    • Experience required in both consumer-facing features, and also backend commerce features - fulfillment, operations, customer service and other post-order features
    • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, CommerceTools, etc), and third-party applications
    • Demonstrated success in driving core commerce metrics such as NPS, conversion rates 
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Sense of urgency in delivering impactful products to the consumer with uncompromising quality 
    • Experience with multi-sided marketplace companies and platforms a plus
