Moonhub is hiring for a client who is looking for a strong engineer with passion and interest in the crypto and blockchain fields. We are looking for engineers for our protocol, infrastructure, full stack and backend teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and build the blockchain node, central to our software, focusing on advanced blockchain scaling and layer two solutions.
  • Enhance or extend the Ethereum virtual machine, particularly with custom precompiles.
  • Assess database backends, networking libraries, and other tools to decide on stack inclusion.
  • Develop efficient and secure EVM smart contracts in Solidity.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of engineering experience.
  • Proficient in Go, Rust, or similar languages.
  • Experience with Ethereum dApps using Solidity or Yul.
  • Background in distributed or embedded systems.
  • Skilled in writing fast, optimized, clean, and well-tested code.
  • Expertise in performance optimization and scalability.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of Ethereum or Bitcoin internals.
  • Knowledge of Ethereum scaling solutions like sidechains or rollups.
  • Experience with consensus algorithms (e.g., Paxos, Raft).
  • Familiarity with cryptographic primitives.
  • Significant contributions to open-source projects in blockchain, databases, networking, or programming languages.
