About the role:

The Ethereum Foundation testing team is looking to grow its testing team. We are looking for full-time hires to help improve testing infrastructure and coverage across both the execution (eth1) and consensus (eth2) layers.

As part of the testing team, you will directly contribute to the security of the Ethereum network by writting tests, reviewing and improving the current testing infrastructure, and collaborating with EIP champions, protocol developers, and researchers to ensure that any change to Ethereum is thoroughly tested. Specific initiatives include:

Improving the current JSON testing suite with better templating, search, classification and automated test generation

Extending the Hive test suite to better support the Ethereum consensus layer, Engine API, etc. Working with client teams on integration and full coverage of their client across testing suites The position is fully remote, you will have high autonomy to shape the initiatives you work on and the work schedule is flexible.
