About Quantinium

Quantinium is building the next generation of secure, post-quantum blockchain infrastructure for decentralized Wi-Fi, 5G, IoT, mobile, and fixed wireless networks. As we expand into the MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) telecom space, we’re scaling our QA function to ensure high reliability across software and hardware systems.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Quality Assurance Lead to build and oversee our QA processes across multiple products including custom routers, mobile applications, web platforms, and crypto wallet functionality. This role will take the lead on quality control efforts company-wide, working closely with Product and Engineering to convert requirements into actionable test plans, acceptance criteria, and performance benchmarks.

This is a high-impact position that directly supports efficiency, reliability, and user experience as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Testing and Validation

Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases across mobile, web, and hardware systems

Validate router performance and network integration in controlled and live environments

Acceptance Criteria and Issue Tracking

Translate product requirements into structured acceptance criteria in Linear

Log, prioritize, and verify defects and performance issues through resolution

Process and Quality Improvement

Monitor production releases and identify opportunities for QA process optimization

Establish consistent QA documentation standards and reporting structures

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure consistent quality from requirements to release

Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives as the QA point of contact

Required Qualifications

5+ years of QA experience, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or lead capacity

Strong experience testing:

Mobile apps (React Native preferred)

Web platforms (React, browser-based environments)

AWS-based backend infrastructure

Hardware devices (e.g., routers, IoT)

Proficiency with test management tools, defect tracking systems (e.g., Linear, Jira)

Deep understanding of manual and exploratory testing techniques

Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with crypto wallets, Web3 technologies, or blockchain infrastructure

Background in telecom, MDU systems, or embedded device testing

Exposure to CI/CD workflows and test automation environments

Familiarity with performance benchmarking and security testing

Additional Information

This role is based in the United States to ensure alignment with core product and engineering leadership. Quantinium does not require Web3 experience for this role but values candidates who bring strong traditional QA skills with an ability to adapt across technologies.

We cover 100% of health, vision, and dental for you and your family, plus life insurance, 401(k) match, annual bonuses, and unlimited PTO.

What is a QA in a job?

QA stands for Quality Assurance, which is a process or department in a company responsible for ensuring that products or services meet a certain level of quality

In a job, QA may refer to the role of a Quality Assurance Engineer or a Software Testing Engineer, who is responsible for designing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that products or services meet the company's quality standards

A QA Engineer may be involved in various stages of the product or service development cycle, from designing and planning quality control procedures to executing testing and analysis to identify and address issues or defects

They may also work closely with other departments, such as engineering, product management, and customer support, to ensure that customer needs are met and that products or services meet the desired level of quality

In the context of Web3, Quality Assurance (QA) refers to the process of testing decentralized applications (DApps), smart contracts, and other blockchain-based solutions to ensure their functionality, security, and performance

The role of a QA Engineer in Web3 may involve designing and implementing testing strategies to identify and fix bugs, vulnerabilities, and other issues that could affect the user experience, data integrity, or network security

Some of the specific responsibilities of a QA Engineer in Web3 may include:

  1. Developing test cases and scenarios for DApps, smart contracts, and other blockchain-based solutions
  2. Conducting automated and manual testing to identify and fix issues
  3. Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of the product
  4. Ensuring that DApps and smart contracts are compatible with different blockchain networks and standards
  5. Contributing to the development of tools and frameworks for testing Web3 applications.
