About You
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong Web3 experience to join our engineering team. You are meticulous, technically sharp, and deeply curious about decentralized technologies. You understand the nuances of blockchain interactions, wallet integrations, smart contract behavior, and hybrid on‑chain/off‑chain systems.
You thrive in fast‑paced, agile environments and bring a proactive approach to quality—anticipating risks, validating distributed systems, and ensuring seamless user experiences across Web3‑enabled features. You are confident in manual testing, comfortable with API‑level validation, and eager to integrate AI‑driven testing tools to improve coverage, speed, and defect detection.
If you’re excited to shape quality practices for blockchain‑enabled products and help define how Web3 experiences should feel for millions of users, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

Core QA Ownership

    • Lead manual testing of complex Web3 and platform features across multiple environments
    • Validate blockchain interactions, wallet flows (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect), and decentralized identity/authentication
    • Test smart contract interactions, event handling, and on‑chain/off‑chain data synchronization
    • Drive exploratory, functional, and regression testing using structured documentation and deep product knowledge
    • Identify, log, and track reproducible issues with precision using Jira or similar tools

Web3‑Specific Quality Work

    • fy blockchain node responses, RPC interactions, and event‑driven workflows
    • Validate transaction signing, wallet authentication, and multi‑chain compatibility
    • Collaborate with engineers to test smart contract upgrades, migrations, and versioning
    • Monitor production logs, blockchain explorers, and analytics dashboards to detect anomalies

Process & Tooling

    • Create and maintain detailed test cases, checklists, and QA documentation
    • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure reliable CI/CD test coverage for Web3 components
    • Evaluate and integrate AI‑powered testing tools (e.g., automated test generation, log analysis, visual regression)
    • Set up and manage test environments, staging pipelines, and job configurations
    • Conduct load, stress, and performance testing—especially around high‑volume Web3 interactions

Quality Leadership

    • ct as a quality advocate across sprint planning, reviews, and release cycles
    • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of proactive quality ownership
    • Contribute to best practices for testing decentralized systems and hybrid architectures

Qualifications & Skills

    • Required
    • Minimum 7 years of total QA experience, including ownership of end‑to‑end quality
    • At least 2 years of hands‑on Web3 testing experience, covering blockchain integrations, wallet flows, or decentralized systems
    • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and defect life cycle
    • Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals (e.g., transactions, gas, confirmations, RPC endpoints)
    • Experience validating APIs using Postman or similar tools
    • Proficiency with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and version control (e.g., Git)
    • Comfortable using browser developer tools and basic terminal/command‑line workflows
    • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
    • Familiarity with AI‑powered testing tools (e.g., test case generation, smart prioritization, AI log analysis)

Good to Have

    • Experience with wallet testing (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect, custom wallets)
    • Understanding of smart contracts, Solidity basics, or blockchain debugging tools
    • Experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)
    • Knowledge of backend technologies, APIs, and familiarity with PHP or related languages
    • Experience working in Linux environments and using Bash scripting
    • Hands‑on experience with AI platforms used in QA contexts

What is a QA in a job?

QA stands for Quality Assurance, which is a process or department in a company responsible for ensuring that products or services meet a certain level of quality

In a job, QA may refer to the role of a Quality Assurance Engineer or a Software Testing Engineer, who is responsible for designing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that products or services meet the company's quality standards

A QA Engineer may be involved in various stages of the product or service development cycle, from designing and planning quality control procedures to executing testing and analysis to identify and address issues or defects

They may also work closely with other departments, such as engineering, product management, and customer support, to ensure that customer needs are met and that products or services meet the desired level of quality

In the context of Web3, Quality Assurance (QA) refers to the process of testing decentralized applications (DApps), smart contracts, and other blockchain-based solutions to ensure their functionality, security, and performance

The role of a QA Engineer in Web3 may involve designing and implementing testing strategies to identify and fix bugs, vulnerabilities, and other issues that could affect the user experience, data integrity, or network security

Some of the specific responsibilities of a QA Engineer in Web3 may include:

  1. Developing test cases and scenarios for DApps, smart contracts, and other blockchain-based solutions
  2. Conducting automated and manual testing to identify and fix issues
  3. Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of the product
  4. Ensuring that DApps and smart contracts are compatible with different blockchain networks and standards
  5. Contributing to the development of tools and frameworks for testing Web3 applications.
