Wallet in Telegram is a digital asset solution natively embedded into Telegram’s interface. Backed by The Open Platform, Wallet in Telegram gained 100M+ user accounts in 2024, and aims to make its solution available to all 1BN+ of Telegram’s users. Wallet in Telegram offers a dual-wallet experience with Crypto Wallet (a multi-chain wallet for trading and sending crypto to contacts) and TON Wallet (a self-custodial wallet with access to the TON ecosystem of dApps and tokens).

Now we are looking for a SDET (Automation 60% and 40% Manual) to expand the team and ensure product quality, stability, and a great user experience. In this role, you will be responsible for both manual testing and developing automated tests to improve test coverage and release reliability. You will collaborate closely with Design and Support teams to proactively identify issues, validate UI/UX, and deliver high-quality releases.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated tests using Python to increase test coverage and improve release reliability.

  • Perform manual testing for the new features.

  • Test and validate P2P marketplace functionality, including orders, matching flows, and transaction processing.

  • Verify the correctness, stability, and security of user transactions and payment flows.

  • Review the app regularly and collaborate with Design to deliver a best-in-class user experience.

  • Triage user reports, prioritize issues, and communicate resolutions promptly.

  • Identify, log, and analyze bugs, providing clear, reproducible steps, impact assessment, and environment details.

  • Create and maintain regression test cases and automated test coverage.

  • Hunt for vulnerabilities and abuse/fraud vectors; work with the team to design and verify protective controls.

Requirements:

  • Experience testing cross-platform applications and mini-apps.

  • Experience in financial products testing and/or transactions testing.

  • Experience in automation testing using Python (or Kotlin, C#).

  • Experience in manual testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.

  • Experience collaborating with Customer Support teams to triage, prioritize, and resolve user-reported issues.

  • Ability to validate implementations against design mockups and work closely with Design teams to ensure UI/UX consistency.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proactive mindset with a strong product-focused approach and attention to user impact.

  • Experience with continuous production monitoring tools to detect, analyze, and respond to live issues.

Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience testing P2P or fintech products.

  • Practical experience with blockchain products (wallets, transactions, dApps).
