Our team is responsible for the implementation of the Avaloq Crypto Assets Platform.

You will be surrounded by smart, highly capable people who are passionate to build the next generation of innovative applications to address the upcoming challenges of the Crypto and Blockchain industry.

We are looking for passionate Quality Assurance Engineer for Digital Assets in Banking to join our team and bring these innovative designs live.

Your key tasks 

• Work as part of an agile development team developing a cutting-edge digital asset offering for banks
• Develop and implement software testing strategies for the implementation of complex business transformation feature.
• Develop test plans, write test cases and test scripts
• Write automated test cases for front and backend applications (APIs, Web and mobile applications)
• Execution of all test steps, application of test processes, methods and software
• Perform the functional test of developed tasks or fixed bugs delivered by the development team
• Open Jira tasks for new identified bugs or environment issues
• Provide QA reporting for weekly test or test campaign execution
• Support and advice developers on quality measures

• Knowledge of TypeScript and Java for test automation 
• Automation testing tools like Jest and Cypress
• Experience with SQL developer script
• Proficiency with test management tools like Jira and Zephyr
• Experience with Postman for testing web services
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams with familiarity in sprints, standups, and sprint retrospectives
• Analytical thinking to identify, isolate, and troubleshoot issues efficiently
• Good communication skills and productive collaboration within agile team
• Fluency in English

It would be a real bonus if you have 

• Knowledge Avaloq SmartClient
• Frontend testing frameworks for E2E automated tests
• Familiarity with mobile app testing frameworks (Android/iOS)
