Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Developers and the QA Manager to ensure quality and participate in all aspects of the platform testing lifecycle.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing of the DCL platform
- Create test plans and schedules
- Regularly execute test cases and suggest improvements where identified
- Escalating and documenting issues in coordination with product teams
- Participate in product team meetings, including stand-ups and demos
- Work with our Support team to address live issues and challenges
- Be a point of truth for QA knowledge and championing of the QA process
Required Skills
- +3 years of experience in QA, preferably in gaming and/or blockchain
- Hands on experience creating and executing Test Plans and Test Cases
- Familiarity with GitHub
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organization
- Good communicator, positive, proactive attitude, and a strong desire to learn
- Web3, blockchain, and game/product development is vital for this role
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with Unity
- Knowledge of TypeScript and C#
- Existing knowledge and/or existing participation in Decentraland
- Automation tools and API testing is a plus
- Be familiar with the Shape Up development process
