About the Role

Injective Labs is seeking an experienced SDET QA Engineer to join our growing global team of engineers. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills in Go and Python to design and develop detailed test automation, ensuring the quality of our blockchain, smart contracts, and dApps. They will be responsible for testing blockchain, smart contracts, and dApps, and must possess the necessary skills to do so effectively. Additionally, they will engage in manual testing as required. The candidate will be involved in functional and performance testing with a solid understanding of agile methodologies and proactive strategies to test the integrity of Injectiveโ€™s products and features. The ideal candidate is passionate about coding, blockchain, and immersive problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop and improve automation frameworks using Go to test core chain features and its modules.
    • Write automated tests using Python and perform manual testing as needed to ensure the operation and precision of new product features and overall system behavior (e.g., regression testing).
    • Test products, features, and bug fixes across the Injective Protocolโ€™s suite of offerings.
    • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
    • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
    • Execute multiple phases of functional and non-functional testing to guarantee the quality of software releases from design to implementation.
    • Provide input to the outlining, requirements definition, and design process for products and product features, with a deep understanding of testability.

Who you are:

    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Proficiency in working with and testing Ethereum or other blockchain technologies.
    • 3+ years in functional and performance testing in large-scale, complex, full-stack systems.
    • 2+ years with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, Testify, GinkGo, RSpec).
    • Strong proficiency in programming with Go and Python.
    • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
    • Familiarity with financial technology, such as exchanges or trading firms.
    • Background in a startup environment.
    • Ability to drive QA activities.
    • Skill in reporting progress and results to stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of Docker, Unix shell, and bash scripts.
    • Passion for learning new technologies (e.g., Rust, CosmWasm).
    • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred) and related tooling.
