Job Overview

Genius is seeking a senior Full-Stack engineer with years of experience building across different parts of the application stack as well as contract development expertise. The ideal candidate will join a team building on a novel, MPC based tech stack and has high agency and ownership in building the next generation of non-custodial exchanges to market.

Job Description

  1. Architect, implement, and maintain novel web3 full stack architecture, leveraging MPC paradigms alongside traditional smart contract ones
  2. Deep expertise and familiarity with Javascript and web3 libraries (ethers, viem, solana/web3js)
  3. Contribute to smart contract development and integration, particularly on Ethereum and Solana blockchains and willing to investigate novel architectures like TON.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various components of Genius’ trading platform, including the proprietary Synchronous Liquid Matching engine
  5. Manage, maintain, and integrate Genius backend services (indexers, quoting engines, etc.) with our frontend

  1. Extremely hungry to take high ownership and put in dog work, grinding hours
  2. Based in NYC/Remote in the US, UK, or South America
  3. Understand deeply the psychology of an on-chain trader and is passionate about mainstream adoption
  4. Possess a broad technical skill set with the ability to dive deep into any part of the stack
  5. Have experience building and scaling applications used by millions of people
Negotiables

  1. Previous experience working at leading DEXs, CEXs, or fintech companies
  2. Familiarity with DeFi protocols and blockchain ecosystems

Core Competencies

  1. Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with expertise in both frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js) development
  2. Strong experience with Tailwind CSS and responsive design principles
  3. Familiarity with AWS, PSQL, and Docker
  4. Experience with smart contract development, Solidity (Ethereum) and/or Rust (Solana)
  5. Solid grasp of security best practices in web and blockchain development

Total Compensation

  1. 150K-200K base salary
  2. 0.25%-0.5% founding equity + Token Warrant
  3. Performance-based bonuses
  4. 2 week trial
