Ordzaar is the predominant platform that empowers creators to easily launch collections on Bitcoin. The platform has grown to be the largest launchpad for Bitcoin Ordinals with over 100,000 mints to date. Ordzaar's mission is to accelerate Bitcoin's transition into web3, and its long term vision is to be the global marketplace for inscriptions across all blockchains.We are seeking individuals who are highly entrepreneurial and possess exceptional problem-solving skills that transcend the standard software engineering paradigm. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to plan, design, and build within this new and quickly evolving landscape.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product designers, and managers to lead the design and development of TypeScript-based applications using React, React Native, Next.js, and/or Node.js.
• Take a leadership role in writing highly performant codes that are clean, simple, maintainable, and battle-tested with test-driven development (TDD) for maximum test coverage automated from pull request all the way to release.
• Lead the creation of highly scalable UI Components and/or backend modules to meet our scaling needs.
• Take active responsibility for developing and maintaining the product lifecycle from start to finish.
• Lead the development of effective REST API servers with express or NestJS.
• Work with SQL databases like PostgreSQL with Prisma or TypeORM to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, ensuring best practices and high-quality code standards are maintained.

What you’ll need:

• Proven experience as a Lead Engineer in a fast-paced tech-driven startup or similar environment, with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript, with a track record of success in Web, Node, or Mobile technologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in server-side JavaScript frameworks such as express.js or NestJS.
• Ability to take full ownership and work independently while fostering collaboration within a fast-paced agile and async team.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to make informed decisions while maintaining empathy and respect for team members.
• Willingness to stay abreast of new and emerging bleeding-edge technologies, with a particular focus on blockchain technologies.
• Deep technical understanding of blockchain technologies, cryptography, BIPs, DeFi, UTXO, EVM, or Nakamoto Consensus is highly preferred.
• Experience in participating in or maintaining open-source software development is highly preferred.

Nice to have:

• Experience in deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Familiarity with containerized technologies such as Docker.
• Take a leading role in evaluating and integrating emerging technologies to enhance our development processes.
