The role
We are looking for Staff Software Engineers who are self-driven, go-getters to join our international team. Our main product includes the Web3 platform, which is constantly adding new features every day! As a software engineer at appreciate, you will work both independently and collaboratively with other engineers and departments including product and design.
About You
- You have worked professionally as a software engineer for a minimum of 7+ years
- You are flexible, enthusiastic, and thrive in fast-paced, start-up environments
- You are excited to learn about new technologies and the Web3 space
- You understand that Web3 scales beyond blockchains and NFTsYou are a strong communicator who enjoys both working in teams and independently. This includes and is not limited to participation in group discussions and technical contributions
- You are proactive in building solutions and seeking mentorship when needed. If you do not know the answer, you turn to your resources for solutions
- You see the value in constantly improving the quality of your work and being able to pivot directions based on the business needs
- You thrive in the fast-paced work environment of a start-up and are enthusiastic about being part of a founding team of engineers
- We primarily use Python, AWS, Web native, event-driven, service bus architecture, CI/CD workflow, TypeScript, React, Go, Gokit
- You will be a resource for other engineers as a mentor and example
- You have a proven track record of building high quality applications
- You understand how to negotiate product, design, and customer needs without jeopardizing quality
