About Us
Satoshis Games is a high growth startup founded in 2018 with the goal of leading the application of decentralized technologies (mostly blockchain) to the gaming industry.

After developing the first gaming plataform with Bitcoin micropayments as a proof of concept in 2019 (https://play.satoshis.games), we began winning our first international hackathons and got our first funding rounds from US investors and crypto world celebrities to advance product development.

We've since developed Light Nite, a Battle Royale game featuring in-game cyrpto rewards and NFT skins. At the same time we started and launched Elixir, what is called to be the Steam of the crypto games. This product was again awarded with a Hackathon 1st prize and is focused on being the first platform with an SDK that allows safe distribution of crypto-games, minting and integration of NFTs in games and launching of new crypto-games to the market, which are currently banned from traditional game stores. We released an Alpha version in June '21 along with an NFT marketplace, won the 1st prize at Bitcoin 2021 startup contest in Miami, and is steeply growing in new pc and mobile crypto games to launch and distribute.

We're also currently developing our second game for mobile and desktop using Binance Smart Chain, and are ready to enter the decentralized finance (DeFi) scene with more exciting projects in the very near future. Satoshis Games has been selected by Binance as one of the 7 startups to participate at its "Most Valuable Builder" Accelerator Program.

The position
Working along your backend colleagues, and interacting with the smart contract and frontend teams, your work will help us:

• Improve and strenghten existing services for our Elixir launcher app
• Add new features to game backends that will be used by potentially thousands of gamers
• Create and improve existing APIs serving our operations and support teams
• Help defining and refining taks as you gain experience within the company
• Identify improvements both in ergonomics and performance and propose those to the team

In the process, you'll learn about how gaming and crypto-applications work and are actually built in the real world. We can promise you won't be bored.

Where and when
We offer flexible working hours in a 100% remote setting. You'll need to sync your work hours with your teammates and be present at specific central hours for our daily meetings, but apart from that, work when you're at your best!

Tech Stack
You need proven experience with:

• Javascript and Typescript
• Node.js
• Express.js and Apollo GraphQL Server
• MongoDB

On the infrastructure side, some experience with the following would be a plus but it's not required:

• Github Workflows
• Docker container creation and distribution
• Docker Swarm / Kubernetes deployments
• AWS like S3, SES.

We believe in full stack profiles, so any experience you have in one of the following will definitely be a plus:

• React.js
• Next.js
• Tailwind CSS
• Electron Desktop App
• Go
• Rust

What we offer
Retribution according to knowledge and proven experience and capacity, raning from 25k to 35k € / year.
