IMC has a strong presence in traditional Finance and has been expanding into crypto over the last years. We provide liquidity and trade on many cryptocurrency venues and are currently looking to expand our Digital Assets OTC Trading team.
As a Researcher OTC Trading - Digital Assets, youâll be joining and shaping the future of our OTC Trading team.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to expand the business
- Updating the trading system to accommodate new venues and counterparties
- Improve OTC pricing models, combining input from multiple sources
- Implement strategies for risk management, analysing counterparty flow and selecting appropriate times, instruments and venues to perform hedges
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and work with developers to automate recurring tasks
Your Skills and Experience:
- Hard requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience with crypto OTC trading in a front office role
- Minimum 1 year Python experience
- Familiarity with the OTC ecosystem including venue types, financing, and matching and settlement processes
- Nice to haves:
- Experience with market making strategies, pricing and risk management in an OTC or high-frequency trading context
- Proficiency in data analysis (NumPy, Pandas) and task automation (file I/O, basic networking) Linux and C++ experience
Location:
- IMC office in Zug, Switzerland
- Note that this is an onsite role, with some but limited flexibility for working from home
