About the role

You will help lead the visual development of prop, character, and landscape design of eco-friendly NFTs for several world renowned franchises. We are a tight knit creative team seeking a seasoned and stylistically dynamic artist with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Work closely with creative leads and 3D designers to conceptualize and illustrate props, environments, and scenes for mock ups, marketing collateral, and technical drawings for 3D modelers. Artwork will range from a magical realism/surreal >

Required skills

• 5+ years of experience working as a concept artist in film, games, or relevant industry
• Portfolio demonstrating a wide range of >
• Samples of original and inspired prop/environment concepts and illustrations
• Samples conveying strong understanding of lighting, composition, color theory, materials, and textures
• Samples that demonstrate ingenuity and creative problem solving
• Character and creature design samples are a plus
• Enthusiasm for NFTs and crypto is a plus
• Expert knowledge of Adobe CC
• Masterful draftsmanship
• Masterful painting and/or photobashing skills that turn sketches into polished illustrations
• Strong, legible quickhand drawing
• Can create technical drawings, turnarounds, and call out sheets for modelers and animators
• Self-motivated, collaborative, organized, good communicator

Bonus Points

• Experience developing design directions for projects blending both Creative and Technology workstreams (e.g. Gaming, Entertainment, Creative Agencies, etc.)
• Knowledge and passion for NFTs and blockchain
• Experience working at a startup as well as a big corporate environment
• Having worked in a remote environment
