Code4rena is on a mission to make web3 more secure and contribute to eradicating hacks and vulnerabilities in the most used DeFi protocols. We’re doing this by completely rewriting the book on how audits are conducted in our industry.

For many years, the leading audit and security firms have been overworked and usually, it would take months to book them. This leaves a massive gap for malicious actors to exploit vulnerabilities and leave innocent investors out of pocket. So, we asked ourselves, “how can we infinitely scale auditing and smart contract security while doing it in a fun way?”

When we answered that, C4 was born. Code4rena introduced the contest model to smart contract security, allowing multiple contributors to carry out audits and get paid for their input. This way the auditors have a great deal more flexibility and allows newer projects to access vital security audits much quicker. So far we have carried out over 70 high quality audits and expect that to grow exponentially.

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Growth and Communications to really be the voice of Code4rena and lead new growth initiatives. We hope this will be the type of person who knows the memes of the day on CT but also someone who cares deeply about the sustainability of our industry, while having expertise in social media and communications.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and lead our overall communications strategy, ensuring it is aligned with the company’s leadership and our target audience.
• Deep understanding in digital marketing strategy
• Prepare social media campaigns that align with the DAO’s objectives
• Helping Code4rena to build a growth team around you
• Hiring and managing vendors
• Learning every day

A bit about you

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including degen-speak
• You should have a good exposure to crypto-twitter and other channels (Discord, Telegram)
• A high-level thinker who has a good overview of the entire web3 space
• Creative when it comes to ideas for our community, contributors, and wardens
