Job Description – Senior Blockchain Developer

Location: Chicago, IL onsite

Job Type: Contract W2 only

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the follow:

Need to have experience with Java development as well as Blockchain. The Blockchain Developer will represent the Digital Asset Innovation development team and play a key role supporting the digital transformation of assets and asset servicing functions leveraging emerging technologies such as cloud technologies, distributed ledgers, machine learning, cognitive algorithms etc

• 7+ years Java/Spring Boot
• Built blockchain applications
• Developed smart contracts in Solidity
• Worked with Hyperledger/Ethereum
• Cloud deployment experience
• CI/CD pipelines
• Financial services or digital assets experience

For this Senior Blockchain Developer role, I would focus on candidates with a combination of enterprise Java backend development and blockchain engineering experience. This is not a pure blockchain research role; it is a hands-on software engineering role where blockchain is integrated into enterprise systems.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Cloud platforms such as MS Azure, AWS preferred
