Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for numbers and financial accuracy? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team!
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be an integral part of the finance department, ensuring seamless processing of accounts payable transactions. You will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and collaborate with various internal teams to manage vendor relationships, process invoices accurately, and maintain up-to-date financial records. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial in resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
This is a full-time position based at our corporate headquarters in Henderson, Nevada. The salary range for this role is $24-$26 per hour/$50,000-$55,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable mailbox – Ensure all current emails in mailbox are addressed and/or routed appropriately
- Ensure all invoices are entered accurately into the A/P system.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data in A/P system
- Track expenses and process expense reports Â
- Investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statementsÂ
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Assist with month end closingÂ
- Provide supporting documentation for auditsÂ
- Assist the Finance team with ad-hoc requestsÂ
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational informationÂ
- Other duties as assigned
