About You

Galaxy Digital is looking for a candidate to join their active portfolio management team within the asset management business. The role will focus on assisting in research efforts such as identifying relative value or event driven opportunities, determining upside/downside potential across a range of cryptocurrencies and staying abreast of new protocols and protocol upgrades. In addition to surveilling the digital asset ecosystem, the role will work closely with senior portfolio managers, trading, sales, client services and operations. This individual will help us further drive alpha generation in our actively managed strategies and optimize our data processing and analysis capabilities.

On a given day at Galaxy, you will:

• Analyze public blockchain networks and associated ecosystems
• Develop and nurture relationships and partnerships with industry stakeholders
• Generate alpha by working with the Portfolio Manager to identify undervalued Digital Assets
• Monitor universe of Digital Assets and determine timely trade ideas
• Stay abreast of the social and technical momentum of coverage universe
• Collaborate with broader Galaxy Digital Asset Management teams

You’ve worked hard for:

• 3+ years of experience (finance or development)
• Deep knowledge of Digital Assets and DeFi/Web3 ecosystems
• Degree in finance, computer science or other quantitative subjects

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to parse through significant amounts of data and make decisions with partial information
• Passionate about investing and trading in cryptocurrency markets
