Member of Global Operations, Strategic Initiatives Analyst
Technical Skills:
- Work with the Strategic Initiatives team to drive analysis and development of essential materials to inform key decision making.
- Demonstrate growing knowledge of analytical and program management methods, planning and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrate experience applying research, written, analytical, and program management methods to support regulatory, strategic, and internal controls’ management efforts in defining programs that support sound regulatory engagement, strategic planning, and internal controls’ management.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Provide program management support and create materials for annual strategic planning program and ad hoc runs as required, including performance of detailed due diligence of new regulated activities.
- Provide research, analytical, and program management support for periodic committee reporting, leadership updates, and ad hoc strategic projects as required.
- Partner with Corporate Planning teams to define and deliver relevant MIS reporting for Head of Global Operations oversight and broader C-Suite decision-making.
- Enable firm-wide collaboration by supporting development of materials for team presentations/reporting and leadership updates.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Collaborate with other members of Global Operations to understand interactions and self-identify additional support needs across the organization.
- Through day-to-day interactions, help the Global Operations teams identify cross-functional overlap or gaps to streamline efficiency and ensure proper coverage.
- Are aware of the strategy of Anchorage Digital, the top company objectives expressing that strategy, and the main efforts underway to guarantee its successful implementation.
- Monitor the development of the company objectives and/or trends that may affect Anchorage Digital’s capacity to succeed.
Communication and Influence:
- Coordinate meetings to drive engagement and alignment across team members within the Global Operations organization; provide certain administrative support needs for the Strategic Initiatives Lead and Head of Global Operations.
- Develop presentation materials based upon guidance from senior members of Global Operations to succinctly communication organizational updates and strategic messaging to internal and Board-level audiences.
- Listen and speak properly with other team members, demonstrate clear communication in the status of work, and proactively share information that impacts other colleagues, manager, and team managers or leads.
- Contribute actively to team activities as a team player, building productive internal and external working relationships.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- 4+ years of experience as a business analyst in advisory or strategy consulting, banking, venture capital, or similar fields
- Experience in writing, editing, or reviewing technical documents in the regulatory or banking space. Experience (or interest in) supporting senior members of global organizations
- Passion for driving efficiency and optimization through data-driven analysis
- Excellent written communication skills, especially for audiences of varying perspectives and seniority
- Organizational skills (to boot!)
