Asset Risk & People Due Diligence Analyst
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly analyze on-chain and off-chain transactions, account characteristics, and other information in order to conduct due diligence and risk assessments on digital assets
- Utilize detailed open source and corporate data to further due diligence investigations into digital assets
- Identify abnormal or malicious activity in relation to digital asset issuers
- Document research and illustrate the steps taken, the data sources reviewed, and the conclusions drawn
- Liaise with other teams to assist and/or gather information
Requirements
- Crypto native knowledge with a solid understanding of the risks present in the crypto sector and differences between L1 blockchains/L2 Protocols
- 3+ years experience in cryptocurrency investigations, corporate investigations or financial investigations
- Experience researching and analyzing crypto crime and familiarity with crypto-related fraud tactics
- Experience researching and identifying company structures through open sources
- Experience tracing and identifying individuals through the use of blockchain analytics tools or block explorers and open source intelligence
- Strong familiarity with blockchain analytics, either using existing tools or manually tracking funds effectively using relevant block explorers
- Subject matter expertise in open source investigations and strong understanding of risk methodologies as they relate to digital assets
- Excellent writing skills and ability to clearly communicate findings clearly and concisely
- Ability to analyse large amounts of data and identify meaningful conclusions in a short time
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including an ability to think creatively in order to reach solutions
- Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Chinese or Russian would be an advantage
- Experience with Dune and constructing SQL queries
