Blockdaemon is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Blockchain APIs to help design, build, and set the strategy for Ubiquity, our multi-protocol blockchain API suite. This is a highly cross-functional role that will report to the Director of Product and work closely with engineering, business development, protocol specialists and marketing.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with engineers, designers and leadership to design & deliver blockchain products that advance the Blockdaemon mission
- Drive adoption of crypto-first product features, working closely with partners on product teams
- Ensure all our blockchain API products are comprehensive, competitive, and easy to use
- Define and implement new endpoints to improve the functionality of the API suite
- Work with marketing and project management to help coordinate new protocol launches
- Translate business requirements into clear and powerful user stories, manage the prioritization and tradeoffs of different initiatives
- Engage regularly with customers and developers to ensure our products continually meet their needs
- Ensure user facing documentation is simple, consistent, and helpful
- Stay informed on protocol trends to deliver meaningful solutions and products
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- 4+ years experience building, designing, and product managing API products
- Deep understanding of blockchain protocols and broader cryptocurrency ecosystem
- Experience as a product manager of technical products, especially developer platforms or products heavily driven by APIs
- Experience working with and on enterprise B2B APIs
- Experience in scaling products through constant learning and experimentation, in fast-paced and rapidly changing industries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, matched with the ability to tell a story with the data
- Attention to detail while being able to think and analyze holistically and at a high level
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
