Job Description

We are currently looking for a Python backend engineer to work on core trading functionalities. Your work will include building trading strategies, researching new data sources, designing and improving the research and trading systems.

You will work very closely with traders, infrastructure engineers, and data engineers. The role is ideal for a candidate with strong programming and analytic skills who is interested to work on building new high-performance systems and developing their knowledge of system architecture, as well as of finance and trading. Crypto exchange experience is not required, but interest in financial and crypto markets would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to easily import and integrate data from 3rd party data vendor and exchange private endpoints into our existing data inventory
• Deploy and manage daily operation of our market data loggers and ensure data is stored efficiently and securely across cloud and on-premise solutions (S3/NAS/DFS)
• Work closely with Infra team and quant researchers to set up and maintain data pipelines that prepare raw market data for machine learning research and simulations
• Build a company-wide machine learning infrastructure
• Build a bot infrastructure to help traders and analysts interact with data
• Design and develop tools and interfaces that improve quality, integrity, and availability for all of our data

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong analytical and programming skill
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Unix, and Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in Python
• Experience designing and deploying high performance systems with reliable monitoring and logging practices
• Experience with a number of the following: Gitlab / GCP / AWS / Docker / EC2 / ECS / Lambda / S3 / Jenkins / Grafana / NoSQL / MySQL

NT$ 1,000,000 ~ 2,500,000 / year
