Chief Blockchain Architect (Layer 1)Â
Bitcoin solved trust in transactions. Luxium introduces trust in price — the world’s first non-human price creation model.Â
Luxium AG is a Swiss-based company developing a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain ecosystem where protocol-level architecture, transparent monetary logic, and long-term infrastructure come together to redefine how value is created and preserved.Â
The system introduces structured pricing tiers based on Fibonacci logic, designed to provide clarity and predictability independent of human decision-making. Combined with a first-of-its-kind mobile consensus protocol enabling scalable distributed validation through everyday devices, Luxium aims to build infrastructure designed to remain relevant for decades, not trends that fade in years.Â
We are currently seeking an experienced Blockchain Architect to define the technical foundation of the entire ecosystem.Â
Â
Role OverviewÂ
This is a senior architecture role focused on designing a new Layer 1 system from first principles.Â
The initial phase is a paid architecture engagement where you will work directly with the founders and core team to define the system’s technical direction, evaluate design choices, and structure the blockchain roadmap.Â
The objective is not incremental improvement of existing models, but careful design of a coherent protocol architecture balancing security, scalability, decentralization, and long-term sustainability.Â
For the right candidate, this engagement can evolve into a long-term leadership role with equity and token participation.Â
Â
Initial ScopeÂ
During the first phase, you will help define:Â
• overall Layer 1 architecture
 • consensus and validation design
 • node structure and network topology
 • transaction flow and fee logic
 • system-level economic logic integration
 • mobile-based consensus approach
 • scalability, security and decentralization trade-offs
 • architecture roadmap and implementation stages
 • technical requirements for future team structureÂ

What does a blockchain engineer do?
A blockchain engineer is responsible for developing and implementing blockchain-based solutions
Here are some of the key responsibilities of a blockchain engineer:
- Design and develop blockchain protocols: The blockchain engineer is responsible for designing and developing blockchain protocols, including consensus algorithms, data structures, and security protocols.
- Develop decentralized applications: The blockchain engineer builds decentralized applications (DApps) that run on top of blockchain networks.
- Write smart contracts: Smart contracts are self-executing contracts that run on blockchain networks. The blockchain engineer writes smart contracts using programming languages such as Solidity.
- Implement and test blockchain solutions: The blockchain engineer implements and tests blockchain solutions to ensure they work as intended.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest blockchain technologies: The blockchain industry is constantly evolving, and a blockchain engineer must stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with other developers: The blockchain engineer collaborates with other developers, such as front-end developers, to integrate blockchain solutions into larger software applications.
- Ensure security and scalability: The blockchain engineer must ensure that the blockchain solution is secure and scalable to handle a large number of users and transactions.
