About the role
Ready Games is looking for an experienced Discord Community Manager to join our team. This role will be key in building, nurturing, and engaging our Discord community. The ideal candidate has a strong background in web3 and gaming, with proven experience in community management and strategy implementation.
- Monitor, moderate, and manage community sentiment on Discord, ensuring a healthy and active community.
- Protect the community from bots and other malicious actors.
- Engage with community members, addressing their questions, welcoming new members, and maintaining ongoing dialogue.
- Organize and coordinate online community events on Discord.
- Develop and implement processes for onboarding new members.
- Plan and execute community-building programs and incentive initiatives.
- Create and manage high-quality, branded content for community engagement.
- Actively participate in social media to promote community events and updates.
- Serve as a key advisor on best practices in web3 and community engagement.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay community insights.
- Analyze community data and report on the success of community growth and engagement initiatives.
- Recommend improvements to community engagement strategies and tools.
Requirements
- Proven track record in delivering and implementing successful communication strategies in the web3 space.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the web3/crypto industry, with a focus on community management.
- Time Zone : ECT (European Central Time) overlap minimun 3-4 hours
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Experience managing Discord communities with over 10K members.
- Familiarity with NFTs, web3, and metaverse concepts.
- Experience in content creation, including writing and basic graphic design.
- Strong knowledge and passion for the gaming industry.
- Familiarity with integration and management of Discord bots.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Active participation in the crypto community with a strong social media presence
- Ability to analyze and interpret community data to drive strategy improvements.
