Role Overview

The QA Engineer will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts, designing comprehensive testing strategies, and managing QA operations to ensure robust, reliable, and user-centric products. This role will emphasize automation testing, UI consistency, responsiveness, and the reliability of the Company's products. Should you join the team, you will closely collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to maintain high-quality standards and streamline the QA process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation and Component Testing: Implement robust automation testing practices to ensure high-quality frontend components.
  • Responsive Design and Cross-Browser Testing: Ensure the application delivers a consistent user experience across devices and browsers.
  • High-Frequency Data Update Testing: Validate UI responsiveness and stability under conditions of high-frequency data updates.
  • Integration Testing and Trade Execution Validation: Conduct thorough testing of end-to-end integration, including trade execution flows.
  • QA Leadership and Test Organization: Establish and maintain structured and efficient QA operations and test organization.
  • Mock API Development and CI Pipeline Optimization: Enhance testing predictability through API mocking and optimize test execution via CI pipelines.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with a minimum of 2+ years experience supporting a user-focused web3 product.
  • QA Experience: Experience running various test types including, but not limited to, unit tests, functional tests, performance tests, security tests, end-to-end tests with an added emphasis on automated tests for web applications
  • Test Frameworks: Experience with one, or more, of the following test frameworks: Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and/or JMeter
  • Self-Motivation: Proven ability to work independently, with a proactive mindset to push tasks forward.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks.
  • Innovative Thinking: Adept at identifying potential challenges or improvements and implementing effective solutions promptly.
  • Clear Communication: Strong ability to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Interest in DeFi: A genuine curiosity and understanding of cryptocurrency and trading trends.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with trading platforms, DeFi, or similar tech.
  • Familiarity with memecoins trading on Solana and related market dynamics.
