About Aztec At Aztec, our goal is to add privacy to Ethereum. In the current public blockchain paradigm, users and entities unknowingly broadcast data in the public, compromising privacy and security to get trustlessness. Not only are unencrypted blockchains inherently privacy-exposing, they require significant redundancy to compute and verify the legitimacy of transactions. Implementing scalable encryption in a public blockchain paradigm requires cutting-edge math and engineering. Thankfully, our team of scientists and engineers invented Plonk, the industry-standard zkSNARK, and Noir, the universal language of zero knowledge. Now, we’re building a first of its kind Layer 2 with private smart contracts. This requires new cryptographic primitives, a zero-knowledge DSL for writing contracts, a privacy-friendly execution environment, a carefully designed set of circuits that prove the validity of the chain to L1, a decentralized block-building and proving mechanism, and a top-tier user and developer experience. And it’s now time to bring it to market. We’ve raised $125 million from industry-leading investors including a16z crypto, Paradigm, Variant, Consensys, and a_capital, and we’re growing quickly.Full time (40 hours per week) | London-based (Hybrid, 2+ days in office)Department: Operations Salary: equivalent to £50,000 per annum (pro-rated for the 3-month contract). About the role We’re looking for a highly organised, experienced and proactive Operations Assistant to support our Operations team and help run our London office smoothly. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping things moving - ensuring our office is welcoming, our systems run efficiently, and our team has the support they need to do their best work. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and great at juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role reports directly to the Director of People Operations and works closely with the People Operations team of three, as well as supporting our wider Operations team. It is a fixed-term role until the end of January 2026, with the potential to extend. What you’ll do

Operations & admin support: Assist the team with scheduling, diary management, and day-to-day admin. Office management: Run our London office - be the face of the space, welcome visitors, manage supplies and contractors, and problem-solve on the spot. Events & culture: Coordinate team lunches, dinners, and internal events; support the planning and delivery of company off-sites and events. Travel coordination: Support company travel bookings and related administration. Record keeping: Maintain accurate internal records (HR files, NDAs, grants, etc.). Process support: Help with internal platform audits, document management, and general process improvement projects.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in administration, office management, or similar roles. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise. Comfortable working with different teams and happy to support colleagues across the business. A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and gets things done. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with Google Workspace, Notion, and other collaboration tools. Someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and happy to take on a variety of tasks. Based in London, and available to work at least 2 days per week from our office in Farringdon. Aztec Labs is an equal opportunity employer and we value creativity, diversity, and intellectual curiosity.
