Senior Frontend Engineer - Ingestion team (m/f/d). Remote
As a vital member of the Data Ingestion team, you will help us create a simple, innovative and user-centric experience to import digital asset information into our leading tax management platform.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be the primary reference for frontend development in the team, helping the product grow, contributing new ideas and implementing creative solutions. You have full ownership over the whole process.
Join us remotely, you can be located anywhere around the CET time zone, as our work is 100% online. The position is full-time.
What you will do:
- Be part of a collaborative engineering team, working closely with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and Designers
- Design and implement front-end end solutions and own them (āYou build it, you run itā)
- Contribute to the front-end architecture evolution, solving scalability problems and thinking about how to evolve the technical stack to be future-proof
- Mentor and guide other engineers on the front-end side
- Have a user-centric view, providing a smooth experience while keeping technical excellence
- Collaborate with other teams and different chapters to improve our codebase, propose improvements and share new initiatives
- Work aligned with our company objectives, with complete freedom to propose how to achieve them
What you need:
- 6+ years of working experience as a Front-End Software Engineer
- Deep practical knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and React
- Understanding of full-stack web concepts, such as transport layers, networking, caching, etc.
- Experienced with different types of testing strategies for applications/components
- Interest in cryptocurrencies, Web3 and DeFi
- You are a highly motivated self-learner who is not afraid to pick up new technologies
Nice to have: Commercial experience with NextJS and previous exposure to backend development in a Javascript environment
