Company Description
Terrace is a regulatory-compliant infrastructure layer and terminal that enables institutions to access DeFi. Terrace offers a curated, security-verified selection of DeFi pools across protocols and multiple blockchain networks with seamless money movement through both a set of APIs and a user interface. Terrace abstracts away the complexity of engaging with dozens of protocols across multiple blockchains (custody, money movement, security, back-office/accounting, execution, etc.) so investors can focus on investing.
Job Description
- Lead security and infrastructure organizations
- Provide security guidance on a constant stream of new backend/core infrastructure and technologies
- Take a leadership role in driving internal security and privacy initiatives
- Conduct regular threat modeling assessments and specializing on zero trust infrastructure concepts
- Design, build and operate infrastructure that provides critical support for fast-moving and fast-changing business features
- Setup and maintain systems that monitor site latency. Identify bottlenecks in NodeJS applications
- Use a data-driven approach to make the call on any new infrastructure that might need to be added, whether it’s off-the-shelf or built in-house
- Architect distributed, real-time systems for high scalability and reliability
- Work with product engineers to ensure that all internal services are properly monitored: logging, dashboards, alerts.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Track record of successfully building and/or operating production Kubernetes clusters
- Experience working with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc)
- Experience with running production NodeJS applications at scale
- Experience reviewing distributed systems design and conducting threat modeling of highly connected systems
- Experience in a security-focused role
