Kima Director of Engineering:
Kima is building a unique (patented) decentralized settlement layer that connects other blockchains and financial layers together in a simple, composable way.
Our stack is based on the Cosmos SDK, which is written in Golang.
Kima is looking for an experienced, senior developer to build and lead the Kima R&D team. Team and project management experience is a must.
You are:
- A senior Golang developer with at least 3 years of experience in developing and delivering code to production
- Possess blockchain and crypto experience, preferably building fintech protocols
- Managed a team of at least 5 individuals
- Recruited, tested, and vetted developers in the past
- Comfortable with remote workers
- Thriving in a startup environment
Technical skills:
- Deep understanding of blockchain technologies and concepts
- Understanding of basic DeFi primitives
- Knowledge and experience in Golang
- Demonstrable work with open source code (github etc.)
- Worked with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience in code reviews, pair programming, setting development tasks, scopes, and on-time delivery
- Ability to read whitepapers
- Ability to write detailed yet readable specifications
