We are looking for an experienced partnerships professional to help lead our efforts in crypto and ecosystem partnerships for Blockchain.com. This person will be instrumental in defining how Blockchain.com partners with the crypto communities and help expand our role within the ecosystem. The Crypto Partnerships Lead will take a long view of building out deep relationships while finding new opportunities for Blockchain.com to partner. As a key member of the Partnerships team, this person will play a significant role in driving the growth of Blockchain.com

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Define and drive Blockchain.com’s partnership strategy with crypto projects, dapps, and crypto communities more broadly
• Operationalize and scale up our asset listing strategy working across legal, product, engineering, and marketing; conduct research, analysis, and diligence on crypto projects and build recommendations based on analysis
• Build strategic relationships with DeFi protocols and DEX to identify potential opportunities across Blockchain.com retail and institutional products
• Create platform strategy for establishing Blockchain.com as preferred wallet and exchange partner for projects and Dapps in the ecosystem
• Identify new products, verticals, or strategic opportunities for Blockchain.com and turn ideas into products and services
• Cultivate and build lasting relationships with developers, entrepreneurs, and leaders in the ecosystem and establish Blockchain.com’s role as the go-to partner in the ecosystem
• Drive all aspects of deal cycle from sourcing, diligence, negotiating, closing
• Work closely with external and internal teams to launch and ensure successful launches
  
  

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Strong understanding of crypto and blockchain ecosystems
• 8+ years BD or partnerships experience overall with 2+ years experience in crypto preferred
• A proven track record of leading and closing impactful partnerships in a product-centric environment with significant internal and external dependencies
• Experience negotiating commercial deals with organizations of all sizes
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with partners and colleagues from various cultural backgrounds
• Highly organized, analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Master’s or equivalent degree in finance or engineering
