What is UMA?
UMA's optimistic oracle (OO) can record any verifiable truth or data onto a blockchain. UMA Purpose: UMA is the canonical source of truth that blockchains use to verify real world data. UMA Vision: UMA enables any verifiable truth to be recorded on-chain, trustlessly.
What is Across?
Across is a cross-chain bridge for L2s and rollups secured by UMA’s OO. Across' purpose: Across is to fulfill crypto’s potential by making blockchains more usable, more accessible and more efficient. Across’ Vision: Intents are the standard in x-chain interoperability, and are settled by Across.
We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who thrives in the sweet spot between product and marketing design. In this role, you’ll drive creative efforts that span across Risk Labs' products—designing interfaces that are not only intuitive but engaging. Working closely with both Product and Marketing, you’ll bring a cohesive and dynamic visual experience to our audience. You’ll work with our Design lead and have a unique opportunity to define and refine our visual identity.Â
Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces that are intuitive, visually compelling, and aligned with our mission to make Web3 accessible.
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Marketing to create designs that connect seamlessly with users.
- Build and manage design component libraries to keep branding consistent across our products.
- Lead design initiatives in Figma, creating high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Approach challenges with a user-focused mindset, considering the unique needs and behaviors of our audience(s).
- Help establish and evolve the visual identity for Risk Labs’ products and initiatives, with an emphasis on aligning product and marketing visuals.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Product Design, with a portfolio that showcases your work across UI/UX and branding.
- Design Skills: Expert in Figma, with sharp attention to detail, usability, and creative problem-solving.
- Mindset: A low-ego collaborator who’s enthusiastic about receiving and providing feedback to strengthen ideas.
- Crypto Passion: A deep interest in crypto, blockchain, and DeFi, with a willingness to dive into new concepts and user behaviors.
- Brand Alignment: An understanding of how to turn brand guidelines into something visually unique and engaging.
Nice to haves
- Experience with motion graphics or Framer.
- Hands-on experience in the crypto ecosystem, especially with wallets and decentralized applications.
- A knack for user research and an eye for turning insights into design.
- Familiarity with additional design and prototyping tools.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay packages include competitive salaries & meaningful token options.Â
- Salaries for this role range from $90-140k (USD), and your token allocation can grow with your voting rewards while you participate in the growing ecosystem.Â
