Let’s go!Your mission Cultivate your passion for blockchain by learning & integrating the newest DeFi tech into our existing blockchain services that are used by millions of happy Bitpanda customers.  What you’ll do 

Grow your skills and build cutting edge tech by maintaining crypto nodes and working on services that interact with various parts of the Crypto ecosystem. Learn how to build clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions for high-performance backend systems using event-driven architecture with Kafka, hosted on AWS. Start to work on loosely coupled microservices that support core business service of the entire organisation, with your mentor/engineering coach. Join a motivated team of highly skilled, experienced developers that can support and mentor you on your learning journey. 

Who you are

You have a fundamental understanding and passion of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology and are eager to dive into it more! Confident Python programming skills with API development basics. For example an understanding of type hints and annotations and how to use these features to improve code quality, readability, and maintainability. Experience with using relational or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB). Basic knowledge of event driven design, like event streams, message brokers (e.g. Apache Kafka) Familiarity with any of the following are huge bonus points: Cryptonodes, AWS Services, DevOps infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, AI, smart contracts, Web3, API design, network communication.
