Location: Fully Remote (Americas & Western Europe), Contractor

Want to help build infrastructure for the Internet capital markets? Triton One operates the largest Solana RPC deployment with 24/7 operations coverage. We're a fully remote team working across the globe, and we're looking for a frontend JavaScript engineer to join our full-stack “portal” or “customers” team.

The product you’d be working on serves as our customers’ primary tool for signups, onboarding, billing, monitoring, and RPC access within our multi-chain network. It’s also the platform we use internally to manage and configure Triton’s cluster of more than a thousand bare-metal servers.

About Us:

We specialise in high-end infrastructure services for blockchain ecosystems, including Solana, PythNet, Wormhole, Sui, Eclipse and Monad.

In the coming year, we look forward to further developing the Solana RPC stack and building better services for other chains. We’re crypto natives who provide bespoke infrastructure for high-frequency trading, DeFi and NFT applications. Join us and help build Web 3.0!

The Role:

Although the larger Triton organisation specialises in web3 and blockchain infrastructure, this team operates primarily outside of that, developing tooling around it using modern web technologies in Vue.js and Ruby on Rails. You’d spend almost all of your day designing and coding new features with us, including:

  • Interactive data visualisation that allows users to see their RPC traffic patterns, performance metrics, and network usage as it happens.
  • A seamless and intuitive customer onboarding experience, including crypto payments.
  • Cascade Marketplace: an innovative auction-based system that allows users to bid for priority bandwidth.
  • Intuitive billing interfaces that allow users to get detailed information about their usage and what we’re billing for.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience developing frontend web applications with a team, contributing code in JavaScript and Vue.js
  • Exceptional proficiency in English
  • Must be located in North America, South America, or Western Europe to have a partial amount of working overlap with our North America-based team.
  • Someone who has a strong knack for amazing UI/UX design and can take leadership of it for our product.
  • A nice-to-have would be someone who has experience working with or developing a Ruby on Rails API backend.

Compensation:

We offer competitive compensation based on experience. Payment can be made in several crypto or fiat currencies.

Our interview process:

Our team works hard to build a high-trust, high-transparency environment. You’ll be working directly with team members across all areas of the business, and you’ll be driving your own projects, so you must be comfortable taking ownership of your work and outcomes.

For that reason, a successful interview process looks like:

  1. A brief screening call with our Business Manager.
  2. A 30-minute non-technical video chat with the team’s lead.
  3. A 1.5h technical interview with two members of your future team. You should be comfortable with live coding small JavaScript problems and also talking about past projects in technical detail.
  4. A final 1h technical and non-technical interview

Excited? We can’t wait to meet you!
