The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Financial Controller. Ideal candidates must have 5 or more years in a finance position with a tech company, a solid understanding of blockchain technology, and experience with the cryptocurrency markets.
- Oversee and contribute to financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting and compliance for a national organization
- Lead all accounting functions including FP&A, treasury, and tax
- Manage internal controls to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Prepare presentations for the CEO & COO regarding financial strategy, risk management, and compliance
- Oversee risk management and conduct risk assessments
- Report on key financial and non financial performance indicators
- Act as liaison to service providers including external auditors and banking institutions
Educational Required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
Experience Required
- 5 plus years in a progressive financial position with a tech company
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology
- Experience with cryptocurrency markets
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong background in financial strategy, risk management, and financial strategy
