Responsibilities

  • Write code, as we expect our technical leadership to be in the trenches alongside junior engineers, understanding root causes and leading by example
  • Partner with product managers, designers and analysts to deeply understand the needs of our users and build a product that serves those needs
  • Develop and execute against both short and long-term roadmaps, making effective tradeoffs between business impact, user experience, and a high-quality technical foundation
  • Build relationships with other engineering teams and collaborate with other functions within Immunefi

Requirements

  • Experience with databases, API’s, and PostgreSQL
  • Deep experience with JavaScript (our stack is Next.js (Vercel), React, PostgresQL)
  • Experience with front-end frameworks, Vue, React, or Angular
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS
  • An appetite for TDD and writing unit tests
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • A commitment to clear and concise documentation
  • Understanding of blockchain concepts and smart contracts
  • Experience in building decentralized applications’ front-end using web3.js or ethers.js
  • A commitment to clear and concise documentation

Bonus

  • Experience and interest in the Crypto/Web3 space
  • Good intuition with Web3 ecosystems and how the industry is evolving.
  • A genuine affection for design and building beautiful interfaces
  • Experience in startups or high growth teams.
  • Experience building ecosystem collaborations in open source software communities.
  • Prior Web3 engineering experience (layer 1 protocols and infrastructure, smart contract applications, IPFS applications).
  • Familiarity with Solidity
  • Experience speaking at conferences, developer summits, or virtual events.

What does a full stack developer in web3 do?

A full stack web3 developer is a developer who has expertise in the full stack of technologies that are used to build web3 applications

These applications use the decentralized, distributed nature of the web3 network to provide users with a secure and decentralized way of accessing and interacting with online services and applications. The responsibilities of a full stack web3 developer will vary depending on the specific project and the needs of the team they are working with

In general, though, a full stack web3 developer will be responsible for: designing and building the front-end and back-end of web3 applications, as well as implementing and maintaining the underlying blockchain infrastructure

This will often involve working with a variety of different technologies and programming languages, such as Solidity for smart contract development, JavaScript and HTML for front-end development, and various blockchain protocols and frameworks. Additionally, a full stack web3 developer may also be responsible for working with the web3 community to help drive adoption and integration of web3 technologies, as well as staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the field and contributing to the broader web3 ecosystem.
