Senior Software Engineer

The Team For You
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sr Software Engineer to lead the API engineering team for nameless, the premier platform for developing NFT-based user experiences. If you have a passion for collecting and/or developing NFTs, extensive experience building SaaS products, and a familiarity with Ethereum, Polygon/Matic, EOSIO, Flow, or the Blockchain -- we are your people.
The Impact From You
As the Sr Software Engineer for the nameless API, you will elucidate, encapsulate, and eradicate the complexities encountered by developer-zealots as they craft their NFT experiences. You will raise the bar of NFTs in the world by hiding deeply technical aspects behind simple APIs. Finally, you will mentor and grow the other engineers on the team, creating opportunities to grow the talent we all want to work alongside.
What You've Done
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of professional API development
- 3+ years of professional experience with public clouds, preferably GCP
- Experience working directly with product management to design and iterate on products
- Strong time management skills
- Experience with tools like Notion, Slack, Jira, Github, etc
- Experience working in a distributed organization
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
What You'll Do
- Develop HTTP APIs as if any developer should be able to develop and deploy NFTs
- Design APIs as if nobody should need to read the docs
- Document the APIs as if everyone you knew was going to read them
- Lead a team of developers as if it was a supporting role
- Other duties as assigned as if you were part of a start-up
