Forbes is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Software Engineer to join our API Team. It will be your responsibility to participate in shaping how Forbes addresses the challenges of user accounts and engaging with content across our many products. From establishing technical design patterns to developing strategies for integrating with new and emerging technologies, ranging from ETL pipelines to the blockchain, this role has a wide array of exciting problems to solve.

Primary Role:

• Feature development
• Provide guidance to less experienced members of the team.

Core Competencies:

• Experience in Go, Java, Python, and/or NodeJS
• Enterprise comfort with database technology such as MongoDB, Firebase, or MySQL
• A passion for Unit & e2e Testing
• Deep understanding of the full technical stack
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other Cloud Provider experience
• BigQuery experience preferred
