Position Summary

As a Senior Operations Analyst in the Middle-Office, youwill analyse financial data to provide insights to business stakeholders to aid in the decision-making of crucial projects, gather research and business development.

• Assist in the preparation, analysis, and management of financial data
• Participate in daily trade capture, reconciliation, and prepare routine reporting to business stakeholders
• Assist in trading account setup, maintenance, monitoring and tracking
• Participate in system improvements and new system development to suit the business needs
• Liaise with external partners to support the business operations
• Support daily operations to ensure deliverables and internal supports are met
• Assist in other tasks assigned by the manager
  
  

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar fields
• Previous work experience preferably in the field of Banking, Finance, Trading handling large volumes of financial processing and reporting
• Preferably having relevant experience for 3-7 years
• Good understanding of financial instruments (e.g. futures and options)
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheet (including features such as pivot tables, lookup, macro)
• A team player, who is also comfortable to take individual ownership
• Ability to multi-task, take initiative, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Able to converse in Mandarin is a plus
• Prior knowledge about blockchain and cryptocurrencies is a plus
• Basic SQL skills is a plus
• Basic scripting skills (e.g. VBA, Python, JavaScript) is a plus
