Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to join our team. As a Senior iOS Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our iOS application. You will collaborate with a team of engineers, focusing on different infrastructure layers of the platform.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with design and business teams to define and implement elegant solutions to interesting problems
- Helping to define and maintain visual guidelines, ensuring consistency throughout the app
- Prototyping new user interactions and iterations based on feedback from peers
What you’ll need:
- Proficiency with Swift, code versioning tools, such as Git
- A deep understanding of iOS application development and Xcode
- Experience working on native iOS application development, supporting multiple iOS devices
- Knowledge of iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency with SwiftUI and Combine
- Familiarity with VIPER architecture
- Experience collaborating on software projects with design and backend aspects
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect the iOS application to back-end services.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Experience with secure storage systems, such as the Keychain
- To be a quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- To work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Knowledge and interest in blockchain technology is a strong advantage
- Insightful opinions about developing for mobile
- A GitHub account with some cool projects in it
- Experience working with cryptography
- Working in TDD approach
- Experience with CryptoSwift and Web3 libraries
- Firebase experience
- Though the iOS application is entirely written in Swift, some proficiency with Kotlin, Java and/or JavaScript/Typescript will be beneficial
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
