Tasks

Tasks and focus:

• You will work on modern cloud platforms and design project-specific environments to quickly roll out and operate applications. In doing so, you are part of an agile team that independently develops customer-specific software and ensures it's deployment and operation.
• You monitor the lifecycle of cloud applications, including CI/CD, logging and monitoring.
• You are responsible for the configuration of Cloud services.
• You ensure the operation of systems and services and support the development team to make applications stable and well monitorable.

Requirements

Your Profile:

• You are an IaaC specialist.
• You have a degree in computer science or bring in comparable, at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Ideally, you provide solutions for monitoring, log analysis and alerting tools.
• Experience with scripting and configuration management. You can write scripts to automate routine tasks.
• You have practical knowledge in most of the following technologies (ideally Azure):

o Terraform

o Gitlab CI/CD

o Microsoft Azure

o Prometheus and Grafana

o Docker, Kubernetes

o Scripting Languages, e.g. Python

Preferred:

• Excitement for blockchain, Web 3.0, and similar decentralized technologies.
• Experience in financial service domain or capital market domain.
• Interest in financial topics (i.e. carbon markets).
• Basic understanding in information security, e.g. DDos-Protection, code scanning tools.
• Experience with distributed systems and container orchestration. You have maintained or even built Kubernetes clusters before and feel comfortable deploying completely new services on them give you a considerable advantage in this role.
• Familiar with the following tech stack & motivation to learn more: Go Lang, PostgreSQL, Node.JS, GIT, NoSQL, Elasticsearch, REST.
• A strong desire to grow and challenge yourself.
• Interest and/or experience in blockchain and other distributed ledger technologies.
• Agility, self-organization, and hands-on mentality.
• Result orientation, conceptual and analytical thinking.
• Comfortable operating in an agile environment.
• Collaborative by nature; willing to give and receive feedback.
• Open to learning.
• You have fun at doing your work and hence being good at it.
• Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
