As the Manager, Internal Communications, you’ll be working to help team members across the organization stay up to date about the company’s vision, goals, projects and updates by leading strategic internal communications programs. You will work across teams to support the Star Atlas brand mission and evolve our brand story. The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller with a knack for interpersonal skills and a passion for creating experiences. We are looking for a communications lead who is passionate about innovation and blockchain technology, has a consistent track record of adapting to fluid situations, and can understand sophisticated issues. Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills are essential, including blog posts, FAQs and video scripts. The role will build a strong culture of collaboration to create experiences that engage, connect, and inspire the community of team members!

Essential Responsibilities:

• Compose internal communications plans and contribute to the plan development process.

• Ability to actively listen, see the “bigger picture” and write with an appreciation for varying voices, >
• Coordinate with our partnership team to support announcements with partners, program updates, and more.
• Manage a wide variety of initiatives and programs, including Star Atlas’ technical products, game, and metaverse communications.
• Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams including marketing, business development, legal, product, and engineering.
• Passionate about and identifies with the Star Atlas values and vision of decentralization, empowering the people and sticking it to the man.
• Interest in and understanding ofinstant messaging and digital distribution platforms (e.g. Discord),interactive virtual spaces (e.g. Gather Town), AR, VR, 3D mapping and similar technologies.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Political Science, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of work experience in communications, preferably with technology comms or gaming platform roles.
• Experience with media relations across tech, business, and broadcast outlets.
• Experience in vision for company culture & identity going through key growth stages.
• Basic understanding of computer vision, AR, and 3D mapping technologies.

Essential: Degree in Communications or related discipline is preferred.

Desirable: Advanced degree.
