Your mission
As a Senior Product Designer focusing on design systems you will be fundamental in shaping the future of financial independence for millions of customers. At Bitpanda, we’re removing the barriers to access new opportunities for wealth generation, and you’ll deliver remarkable and effortless experiences to entry and keep up with the financial playing field, empowering people to make their financial freedom a reality.
Your work week will be a mix of contributing to and maintaining our design system, and product design projects.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to the growth and consistency of the quality of our products’ experience by co-owning and iteratively improving our design system.
- Own projects and UX initiatives from start to finish, including running design sprints and collaboration sessions to understand and explore customer problems, sketching, wireframing, low and high fidelity prototyping, user testing, and leading stakeholder reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to turn user insights and business needs into hypotheses and products that drive balanced business value through a process or rapid exploration, product definition and validation.
- Mentor your peers and act as a proactive voice for user experience, helping our team to work together efficiency and ensure a high level of maturity.
- Help other disciplines understand the business value of design, by shipping experiences that are measurable towards Bitpanda's vision and strategy.
Who you are
- Generalist UX design skills, including strong UX research or content design abilities. You are experienced in using and contributing to design systems and enjoy handling projects with minimal direction!
- You will engage in strategic project discussions considering the holistic customer experience and insights, strategically break down complex problems and iteratively validate assumptions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, constraints, and priorities.
- Continuously build knowledge of customer problems by conducting investor-facing studies and seeking feedback from peers in various disciplines.
- 3+ years of experience collaborating closely with product and engineering peers to ship engaging experiences. State-of-the-art workflow with current industry-standard tools like Figma, Miro and JIRA.

In web3, a product designer is responsible for designing and creating decentralized applications (dApps) and other products that leverage blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized networks
This involves understanding the unique technical and functional requirements of web3 products, as well as the principles of decentralization, transparency, and user ownership
Web3 product designers need to be familiar with blockchain technology, smart contract programming languages, and decentralized networks, in order to design products that can operate effectively in a decentralized environment
They need to be able to work with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that the product is designed in a way that maximizes user control and ownership, while minimizing the potential for fraud or malicious activity
Web3 product designers may work on a range of products, such as decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, non-fungible token (NFT) marketplaces, decentralized social networks, and more
