What we are looking for
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team.
Our product designers take ownership of a product, feature, or experience from ideation to production. This includes research, wireframes, prototyping, the design team and developers to create and launch experiences used by thousands of our customers every day.
For this role we are looking for a Senior level Product Designer to take the lead on our core Bitfinex products and features across web and mobile working on cryptocurrency trading products.
You will report to the Head of Product Design and will:
Drive the strategy and positioning of your product area
Plan, scope, and create work that contributes to a long-term plan
Communicate your ideas and work to your direct team and other teams
Drive execution of your product area in its entirety, taking full ownership
Work with our design systems to help define our design
Scale your designs across multiple platforms and surfaces
This is a remote position and candidates will need to work primarily within European time zones.
4+ years experience working on complex products.
Experience with Fintech would be an advantage.
A strong portfolio with real examples of products you designed that have been shipped.
Worked with and contributed to design systems in Figma.

What does a product designer do?

Web3 product designers need to be familiar with blockchain technology, smart contract programming languages, and decentralized networks, in order to design products that can operate effectively in a decentralized environment
They need to be able to work with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that the product is designed in a way that maximizes user control and ownership, while minimizing the potential for fraud or malicious activity
Web3 product designers may work on a range of products, such as decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, non-fungible token (NFT) marketplaces, decentralized social networks, and more
