Polysynth is hiring a DeFi product manager, who will be able to drive fast-paced development of our financial products. Products you will work on include Polysynth (Decentralised platform to trade Perpetuals) and Olive (Liquidity as a Service for Protocols). We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Product thinker with a solid technical background who will work closely with engineers and designers to build new products and features.
About Us:
Polysynth is a multi-chain, decentralised platform for trading derivatives such as perpetual futures and options. We are the first perpetual futures exchange on Polygon. We have raised funds from Jump Capital, Defi Alliance, Hashed, Brevan Howard and prominent crypto billionaires like Sandeep Nailwal & Jaynti Kanani.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Write clear product specifications detailed enough to fully outline the scope of functionality and business drivers to enable delivery in a timely manner
- Synthesise research, analysis and stakeholder feedback into product features and requirements
- Develop processes and documentation to communicate on product updates & feature release with users, community, and stakeholders
- Build data-driven models to simulate and analyse financial product performance and risk
- Lead rigorous testing of product features and smart contracts during development
- Stay updated with user needs, latest DeFi trends to incorporate them in our product suite
- Define relevant metrics to quantify user feedback, product growth and business outcomes
Pre-requisites:
- 3+ years of technical product management experience in a fast paced technology driven company (preferably fintech)
- Experience in banking/trading with an in-depth understanding of financial instruments
- Familiarity with processes (e.g. Agile, Scrum), and tools (e.g. JIRA, Notion, Figma, GitHub, MixPanel)
- Experience working with complex software systems and algorithms is a plus
- Experience within the relevant fields like advanced financial products, mathematical algorithms, blockchain is a plus
- Has excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Passion for DeFi and crypto; demonstrable knowledge of major defi protocols
- Ability to work remotely and desire to make an impact in a highly visible role
