About the Opportunity
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define X Layer's product roadmap to position X Layer as one of the top L2 to Ethereum in the world
- Plan, organize, and deliver new products / marketing campaigns to support the growth of X Layer
- Coordinate and collaborate with designers and engineers to develop detailed product specifications, and drive global product launches
- Work with the GTM and BD team to coordinate marketing & technical support for projects building on X Layer
- Perform competitor and market research, and formulate relevant insights / recommendations for X Layer
- Identify emerging web3 trends (e.g. LST, RST), discern whether it can be adapted for X Layer, and follow-through with a clear implementation plan and execution
- Interface with the user community, and foster X Layer's user community identity and sense of belonging
What We Look For In You
- More than 3 years of Experience in Web3 product management and growth
- Experience in working with engineers and product designers to deliver zero-to-one products
- Able to communicate effectively with a multitude of stakeholders (e.g. C-suite, Engineers, Marketing, Designers and Users)
- Possess the requisite technical and software engineering knowledge to hold technical conversations with Engineers
- Have a good understanding of blockchains (especially L2s) on both the technical and ecosystem front
- Demonstrates deep passion for web3 and crypto through past experience and hobby projects
- Possess strong ownership and team spirit, and is able to take initiatives to drive real impact / innovation in a dynamic environment
Nice to Haves
- Have experience in leading a team of PM to build zero-to-one products
- Past experience with growing the ecosystem on L1/L2 EVM blockchains
- Possess a technical degree / worked briefly as a software engineer
- Experience with working with large bodies of user communities
- Effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin
