Product Manager - Blockchain

Reports to:Director of Product

The Role

As an ideal candidate, you are an experienced product manager with a track record of creating a link between the end users and the engineering teams. You enjoy collaborating with the developer community, engineering, product marketing and the business team to deploy a product strategy that leads to satisfied paying customers. Specifically you enjoy building blockchains focused on delivering innovative cryptography solutions to both the web3 and web2 spaces.

What You’ll Own

Product Strategy and Vision

  • Strategy, management, and rollout for blockchains and web3 tools (e.g. wallets, block explorers, javascript libraries, APIs, SDKs and more)
  • Maintain and evolve our company-wide standards/frameworks and work with the various engineering teams to implement them

Product Development

  • Identify, prioritize and track emerging needs in our Product roadmap
  • Use data-driven decision making in the product prioritization and development process
  • Manage the 3rd party solutions team to develop code samples in a variety of languages to help developers more easily consume our products
  • Work with our Business Development and Marketing teams to get broad adoption of the tools and products in our ecosystem

Stakeholder Management

  • Build a strong developer community
  • Share product plans and progress on KPIs during company wide team leads meetings

Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, decentralized applications and cryptography.
  • Product Management Experience: At least 2 years hands-on track record in web3 as a product manager shipping successful products or at least 5 years in an adjacent field like tech or fintech.
  • Analytical skills: data-drive approach to decision making and experience with various analytics tools
  • Communication and project management: Experience in organizing product roadmaps with an emphasis on defining minimum viable products, constant iterations, with frequent releases and over-communication of strategy, implementation details and results.
  • Leadership / stakeholder management: Must have excellent leadership and relationship building skills and must be exceptional at communicating with senior management as well as with colleagues from technical and non-technical backgrounds
  • Experience with DeFi, NFTs or other blockchain applications
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other project management tools
  • Previous involvement with startups, preferably in the web3 / blockchain industry
  • Fintech experience

  • Managing the product development process, including coordinating the work of cross-functional teams and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
