Zynga’s mission to connect the world through games makes NFTs and blockchain technology a natural next step in its evolution. Zynga is jumping at the opportunity to integrate ​​NFTs and blockchain tech into its existing portfolio and to develop new games that are built with NFTs as part of the core gameplay.

We are looking for a data analyst to ride the tsunami-sized waves being made in the blockchain space and to help Zynga develop industry-leading blockchain games. This role will be responsible for assessing the ever changing NFT markets, using data to help engineers build attractive and effective game features, and identifying opportunities to increase engagement, retention, and revenue in our blockchain-based games.

Main Responsibilities:

• Find novel and effective ways to analyze the NFT and blockchain-based mobile game markets.

• Build blockchain game data models and evaluate game telemetry with an eye on effectively measuring game KPIs.

• Learn and evolve: keep up with the cutting edge in blockchain technology and the evolving trends in blockchain gaming.

• Think and build at scale: Zynga is a powerful brand with broad reach; our games produce a lot of data. We value creativity and innovation over brute force in designing pipelines that effectively move and transform it.

• Advocate for excellence: we build our products to last, so an eye for detail and emphasis on stability is essential.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• A strong background and understanding of blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs.

• Experience in using or building blockchain analytics platforms: Dune, Nansen, Etherscan, etc.

• Demonstrated experience designing large-scale data pipelines using technologies such as AWS tools, Databricks, and Airflow

• Ability to develop clear narratives from data using visualization tools such as Tableau

• 3+ years of work experience in data science or analytics roles

• Proficient in SQL and Python

• BS in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field; Masters or PhD strongly preferred
