About the role
We are looking for a motivated frontend developer to be part of our engineering team at Papers. Working on the implementation of various end-user facing web applications that are rooted in the blockchain space and primarily open source.
Tasks
- Developing mobile and web applications
- Designing and developing APIs
- Requirements engineering to get an clear understanding of the deliverables and approach
- Developing maintainable code by writing test cases for automated testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields like Mathematics or Physics
- Proficiency with fundamental frontend languages such as Typescript and Javascript
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and NgRx/RxJS.
- Good understanding of Design Patterns
- Enjoying writing maintainable, testable and documented code with a keen eye on high-quality code
- Previous experience in the security sector
- Verbal and written fluency in English
- Self-organized and autonomous, get things done mentality
Bonus Points
- Experience with native iOS and Android app development
- Knowledge in Blockchain related development like LIGO, SmartPy, Solidity, Web3 etc. and broad understanding of protocols like Tezos, Polkadot or Ethereum
