The Growth Team

OpenZeppelin is pioneering the future of secure, on-chain finance. As tokenization and digital assets gain momentum, we’re not just supporting the world’s largest institutions and technology providers– we’re helping them build meaningful solutions based on partnerships across fintech, crypto-native ecosystems, leading technology providers, and professional service companies. With industry-leading security audits, open-source smart contract libraries, and enterprise-grade standards & solutions, we’re laying the foundation for the next era of collaborative, on-chain finance.

We thrive on building bridges, cultivating trust, and forging alliances. Our mission is to accelerate adoption by creating solutions that not only meet today’s needs but expand tomorrow’s opportunities through strong ecosystem partnerships with fintech innovators, crypto-native platforms, and global technology leaders such as IBM, Accenture, Google, and Amazon.

We’re looking for a Head of Partnerships & Solutions Architecture who will serve as both a connector and a builder. You’ll work directly with enterprises, fintechs, crypto-native platforms such as Coinbase, Circle, Chainlink, Polygon, and Arbitrum, and technology and service providers such as Google, Amazon, Accenture, Deloitte, and IBM to identify partnership opportunities, design collaborative solutions, and guide joint prospects through their on-chain transformation. At the same time, you’ll channel those insights back into our product and services roadmap – ensuring OpenZeppelin remains the trusted partner at the center of fintech, crypto, and enterprise collaboration.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer engagement, technical architecture, ecosystem partnerships, and revenue growth. You’ll be shaping not just joint partnerships and solutions, but the future direction of our OS ecosystem while driving measurable business outcomes.

What you'll be doing

• Drive partnerships with clients and providers: Collaborate with fintechs, crypto-native platforms, and technology leaders to explore financial institution use cases in tokenization, DeFi, and digital assets, turning joint ideas into prototypes and real-world solutions.
• Deliver revenue growth:
• Expand existing sales pipeline to deliver 20% YoY growth in partnership-related revenue.
• Drive net new incremental revenue for the sales team through partnerships (e.g., 3M+ in partnership-driven sales).
• Secure at least 3–5 new strategic partnerships per year with fintechs, crypto-native platforms, and technology solution providers.

• Prototype with partners: Coordinate and work with internal product and services team to design and deliver 10+ Proofs of Concept (PoCs) annually, showcasing secure smart contract applications in a partnership-driven model.
• Evangelize OpenZeppelin partnerships and solutions: Represent OpenZeppelin at 10+ industry events annually, positioning us as the go-to partner for secure blockchain adoption. Travel up to 40% required.
• Active participant/contributor to associations and organizations like: Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust, ERC3643, Vault Foundation, Confidential Token Association.
• Shape the roadmap through collaboration: Translate client challenges and ecosystem trends into product opportunities, influencing what our product team builds next.
• Mentor and collaborate with solutions architects across the sales organization: Advise and mentor solutions architects across the sales organization.
• Adapt and evolve: Operate with a startup mindset – test collaborative ideas, learn quickly, and pivot based on feedback from customers and partners.

You have

• Proven leadership experience in solutions architecture, product strategy, or partnership development.
• Strong track record of revenue achievement and sales success, including:
• Closing or having been a solutions architect supporting $10M+ in enterprise deals annually.
• Building or helping build pipelines that consistently exceed quarterly targets.
• Demonstrated ability to expand accounts and drive recurring revenue.
• Strong technical expertise in Ethereum, Solidity, and blockchain infrastructure, with a deep understanding of security and standards.
• Experience working directly with enterprises, fintechs, crypto-native platforms, and technology providers to design and deliver impactful solutions.
• The ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executives while inspiring engineers with collaborative opportunities.
• A builder’s mindset: you’re comfortable experimenting, prototyping, and iterating quickly with partners.
• Passion for shaping not just solutions, but the future of financial technology through partnerships.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience deploying Solidity contracts (ERC20, ERC721, etc.).
• Familiarity with tokenized securities, stablecoins, or digital asset rails.
• Experience in regulated financial environments.
• Public speaking or publishing experience in blockchain, fintech, or crypto ecosystems.
